There are many ways of breaking a heart. Stories were full of hearts broken by love,
but what really broke a heart was taking away its dream - whatever that dream might be.

Are you Listening?
A British company is developing computer chips that store music in women's breast implants. This is a major breakthrough because women are always complaining about men staring at their breasts and not listening to them.
Ha Ha HA! :dramatic eye roll here:
The historical appeal of breasts. Should we even discuss it? I was in my walkin closet getting dressed pondering the preportion of my mammalia. The stories I could reveal here about this very subject of men and my boobs. You have to understand that since the age of fourteen I have had to wear a bra. Now in junior high school that is a like waving a red flag at a bull. Let's just comment that I hated boys until I was out of high school. And it didn't help that I was a swimmer. So now we have an idea of the proportion. Its a hell-of-a long time to be wearing a upper body restraining device! Time passing and gravity is not kind to the exterior bits. And my poor aching back... oy vea!
I have long considered having a reduction. Money is the one of the prohibitive factors involved here. The next is the fact when they do a reduction, they do an incision around your areole. Yea what good is that going to do? I mean half the fun of the boobalas is the sensation in that region. So yea, lets severe the nerve endings. NOT. Archaic. You know what i have to say? If men had boobs, you can DAMN well be assured that a much better approach to this reduction surgery would be available.
So, one more day in the holster until I can find a procedure that doesn't cost me an arm and a leg. And a doctor that can preform this surgery without completely severing my nerve endings. Sighs. Someday.
Back Straight, Chest Out, lest we get some static on the Radio. ;-)

Mine could sure use a lift, heh.
ReplyDeleteI might just do that when I get my tummy tuck...
Thanx for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteI have the same boob problem, and I feel the same way that you do. No way am I going to jeporize the nerve endings! No way. what good would they be then?
Hiya, thanks for stopping in on my blog :)
ReplyDeleteI have the opposite with my boobs - there is so little there, it really isn't a problem!
I think as women, we are never happy with what we've got LOL
I think they do the surgery at the areole so you can't see the scar. I almost think for some women insurance should pay for reduction. My wife is fairly large, and after awhile, it seems to be more of a pain in the back than fun.
ReplyDeleteOuch!! You'd think there'd be a better way...arg to men!
ReplyDeleteI too am "blessed" with boobage. I ride horses. I just love having to remember to put on the "right" bra before I go riding... otherwise, nothing but walking for me! *sigh*
ReplyDeleteI don't look at boobs so much, Mel. I look at feet more often. But no woman I've run into yet seems to have as much of a problem with that as they do with other men looking at their boobs! Quite the opposite. They're actually very often willing to take their shoes off for me when they notice I like them!
ReplyDeleteWhy is that?
I feel like tossing them beads Mardi Gras style when they take their shoes off for me!
jj: An ex of mine would bitch at me everytime i wore a low cut shirt, I would say listen buddy, if you had these hanging off your chest, heating up your entire chest area, you would want a little bit of breeze too. i mean shit! they grew there just like my arms and legs did. Give me a break. yea men have it pretty easy.
ReplyDeleteMs. I: think we could get a group rate?
Life or Sumpthin: No Doubt! that is the one good thing about carting those puppies around.
flossy: Welcome! wanna share some? i would be glad to lend you mine for a weekend. My back would certainly thank you.
neil: yea a scar and no feeling! theres a no win situation. PASS.
Lbug: love your little ladybug! gotta learn to accept ourselves as women, and the power that can assert...
CindyD: yep. Girl Scout motto: always be prepared. sighs. i don't trot on my feet either. Walking is fine!
Cyberbro: There is something interesting about feet. some are very comfortable showing them off some aren't. And you are less likely to get arrested for public nudity if you take off your shoes, than if you take off your shirt, for a woman that is.
;-)
Sister, gravity has ALWAYS been my enemy. I've been sagging since I was in 6th grade, no joke. I'd thought many times about having a reduction, but they say the pain and problems that go along with it, are so much, that sometimes, it's just easier to deal with the pain and annoyance of feeling like Dolly Parton (I only wish I looked like her ;0)
ReplyDeleteIve been a D cup since I was a freshman in high school, not counting my 2 pregnancies that forced my into a DD-ack!
ReplyDeleteif MsL. you and I all go in on a group rate, I bet we can get a helluva discount.
cindydiane:I swear, literally SWEAR by playtex 18hour bras for riding
Hey! Men have boobs! I have boobs. Of course no one wants to touch them. *LOL* Anyway, I feel yer boobs.... I mean yer boobs I feel yer boobs...*slap*. I feel nut-ting! *mommy*
ReplyDeleteBarngoddess, I am a DD too. since before pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteand i agree. if we could get a group of women together, and we talked to a doctor, i bet we could get a group rate.
Jay: you are right! silly me. i seem to have forgotten that. But, do you have to restrain yours?
ReplyDeletei think not. and your mom is on my side.
;-)
and also if men had boobs apart from them finding better surgery options it would be bloody free!
ReplyDeleteBoobs.
ReplyDeleteThat's really all I have to add.
Just boobs.
You see, when I hear boobs, or see boobs, all I tend to be able to think of is boobs.
Man. I just typed boobs an awful lot didn't I? ;)
Steve~
Right on Sistah! that is the bloody truth of it!
ReplyDelete;-)
welcome!
Ah, Steve. so did you like the picture then? cuz they are boobs. with eyes, but still... boobs.
ReplyDelete;-)
miss 1999: Gravity IS the enemy! and i hope one day that the procedures are more efficient and not as complication ridden as predicted.
ReplyDelete;-)
I have seen the scars from a reduction and no way! I have been wearing a bra since grade four. I love bras...and I love my boobs but then again I am 18 and haven't had the problem with gravity yet.
ReplyDeleteDear AIQ: I know the scaring is barbaric. oh my... well, you won't even be thinking about the possibility until after you have had children (if that is your desire)
ReplyDeletewelcome! ;-)
