There are many ways of breaking a heart. Stories were full of hearts broken by love,
but what really broke a heart was taking away its dream - whatever that dream might be.

The Preacher, and the Bum

Last night I had a dream about my ex, father of my little guy.

This is a very deep and intense read. I wonder why I am always tired. These dreams are like writing literature every night. Thats only a small part of what happened in the dream. The "Readers Digest" version if you will. I don't add all the smells or light or visuals.

  1. Sounds like a good dream. You did something that you feared (leaving your child with the ex) and for whatever reason, it turned out okay. From the cheap seats here, I think it has to do with letting go of those fears: fear of seeing the ex, fear of not doing right, or not protecting, the child.

You're doing great. Don't doubt it!

  2. Sis Universe: I so believe that too. At the time in the dream it seemed frightening, but i knew it was the right thing to do. leave the cares behind.

flutter: its not fully described, but you can get the feeling of what transpired.

  4. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who is exhausted from vivid, detailed night journeys.

Interesting dream. It's amazing what we carry in our subconscious and conscious minds that get pieced together like some neurotic jigsaw puzzle. LOL

Just as a side note, SSRIs enhance this ability even more. I should know. ;o)

    Take care, Melanie...

  6. Cindy: this has happened since I was about 5 years old.

K: They do. But, read above to cindy. The only issue I am having now is interpretation. Interesting is a definite adjective to describe them.

slyde: would I lie to you? ;-)
