There are many ways of breaking a heart. Stories were full of hearts broken by love,
but what really broke a heart was taking away its dream - whatever that dream might be.

"Kindness cannot be taught by harshness - not by any amount of harshness."
~Raymond M. Smullyan, "The Tao is Silent"

This is an original Melanie. I had a night alone the other night, and actually picked up a pencil and started sketching. How wonderful that was. I can't do that with 1,000,000 questions and needs being tossed at me, faster than I can respond. It was a good beginning.

what do you see? It reminded me of an old poem, Out of the Cave, which I am sure you all have read.

be well. stay focused. forget the pain. namaste.

  2. lily: I have no concrete vision of what it represents or is "supposed to be". Definitely an eye. Then it looked like a squid then, it looked different again.

I wish I had more time alone.

  3. I see pain
    sorrow
    but more so
    wisdom.

    It's free
    and visceral.

    I love it.

  5. I agree with Rebecca...I saw a horse's eye as well. At least at first I did.

Some kind of crazy fish with stuff on it works too.

And you made up that Smullyan name, right? ;)

  11. I like it a lot!
    beautiful!

what do I see? I see someone who is rough outside but the eye inside tells a different story, this person is soft and warm and full of love and a litte bit sad.
I see lack of trust and hiding.
overall I see someone who can obviously speak with a pencil.
    great Job Melanie
